If you are not acquainted with hiphop DJ Paul Pre, it’s time you’ve been introduced. My current favorite hiphop DJ, Mr. Pre resides in Germany and has a dozen or so of his sets available on hist website – I suggest you designate a few gigs of space to downloading all of them and witness the laid back, sometimes wonky spectrum of hiphop he weaves smoothly together.

I’ve had this gem of a mix from Paul Pre sitting on my hard drive for about a month and a half now and wish I would have listened to it around that I first attained it as I have been missing out. As per his style, Paul Pre shares with us a spectrum of instrumental hiphop that blends with strange electronic sounds. Sometimes the dynamic is wonky, some times minimal. Through out all of these wonderful sounds is the backbone of hiphop. Highly recommended for fans of Jay Dilla, Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke and the like.
