Reid Speed is a DJ who’s skills behind the decks are only matched by her diverse taste in music. Initially known for her drum and bass sets, she’s now known for her eclectic, high energy sets that combine electro, house, breaks and dubstep. She’s started her own label called Play Me Records, which boasts releases from artists such as B. Rich, Ultrablack, Hulk (Richie August and Claw) as well as her own production.

South Florida’s Methodus is known for his weekly Bassdrive drum and bass show and has been featured in Knowledge magazine, via interview and mix. He is also the latest to join the Digital Felon crew, recently doing a back to back dubstep mix with DF head somejerk. Big ups to Methodus!!

Ten years ago a small project called Bassdrive Radio launched with the idea of exposing drum & bass music to people online. Since then, Bassdrive has emerged as one of the leaders in the world of internet radio and broadcasts over 50 live shows per week from DJs all over the world, not bad going for something which was started as, “a bit of fun”.

Sunday afternoon resident Methodus was keen to highlight the ambitious nature of the station’s success. “Given that most shows are actually live, it’s like running an event with multiple DJs from various parts of the world, all in a virtual venue,” said the US based DJ.
