John W. Gregory II, better known as somejerk, has quickly made a name for himself in the dubstep and bass music communities. Originally a graphic designer and promoter, he found his DJ calling during the beginning of Florida’s dubstep phenomenon, opening for international acts such as Skream, Mala, Hatcha, Joe Nice, Platician and countless others, all while producing and releasing original music. Avi Rose a.k.a. 3 Eyes was born to the beat of the drum and grew up on hip-hop. While listening New York radio stations in the early 1990’s, he started making mix tapes, “pause button” style. By the age of 15, he bought a pair of Technics 1200 turntables and a mixer. A year later he was deejaying in clubs playing hip-hop, breakbeats, house, and jungle/drum and bass. 3 Eyes also organized his own events where friends and local deejays would mix it up. His picture was used on the cover of the book, “Generation Ecstasy” by Simon Reynolds. More >>


Sopheye is an emcee, vocalist and b-girl who has loved music from birth. Her love for the Bangles’ “Walk Like An Egyptian” had her dancing her her diapers while clutching the coffee table for dear love. Music, Sophie says, “has always been there for me – it’s an amazing outlet, an escape”. She started writing her own songs in the sixth grade. “The knowledge I gained form poetry classes and choir helped me torn my poetry into my songs. I spent the last three years of high school as part of the S.T.A.R. Academy Theatre Magnet programe at Krop High School.” From that experience, Sophie explains, she was able to enhance her stage presence and performance. More >>


UK Mantra, a.k.a. Tom Hinton, was born and raised in Worcester, England. At only 2 years old, Tom was bought a drum-kit by his father Phil Hinton (a professional musician at BBC/EMI). Music became Tom’s life, he went on to work as a pro session drummer. Jazz, classical, reggae, funk, and rock are the styles he was most familiar with, it wasn’t until his mid-teens he was introduced to Drum’n'Bass- Blown away by this fast paced dance music, that incorporated all the styles Tom loved, he immediately started buying vinyl, got some turntables… and learned how to spin! Understanding music, and being a drummer was a huge help- it wasn’t long before Tom mastered mixing, scratching, and all the techniques involved in DJing. More >>

Rene Aguiar, aka The Reazin, played in various rock bands between 1996 and 2004 before making his way to becoming a drum and bass dj. He became a resident at the infamous Respectables Afterdark weekly between 2001 and 2004, was a resident at Dangerous Liasons in 2005 and started djing and producing dubstep around 2007.

In late 1999, Kevin aka Mainframe found the sound that will forever shape his life. Coming from an interesting influence of punk rock and hip hop, Mainframe has developed a very distinct sound and style influencing his producing as well as his dj’ing.
