Love him, hate him, or have never heard of the guy before – DeadMau5 is arguably the most popular electronic musician in the United States at the moment. Gimmicks and cheese aside, the guy knows his way around a studio and has managed to craft a pretty good, albeit mainstream, take on a new single from the Foo Fighters.  If you’re a fan of either, or both, check out the remix, which I originally heard here. here. Here’s the single from their newest album, in it’s original state. I’ve liked the Foo Fighters since I was a young teenager; not enough to purchase their music or go see them play but they’ve always been one of the better mainstream post-alternative bands.

Here’s the DeadMau5 remix, which, I can’t lie, isn’t terrible and definitely adds something new to the music.
